Specializing In Historical Whole Home Renovation
The Pruit Brothers House Circa 1909 Listed On The National Register of Historic Places. An Intact Example of an American Foursquare.
Restoring historic homes connect us to the past. They are physical reminders of what came before us and help to create a sense of culture in a neighborhood. Historical buildings and homes give us a way to study the past and make sense of the communities that came before us. Historic homes are witnesses to the aesthetic and cultural history of a city, helping to give people a sense of place and connection to the past. Old homes have unique characteristics that can be difficult to replicate in new home builds. You may be able to make a new home look similar to the old, but it won’t feel the same. Our goal is to combine modern materials and construction techniques with the overall architectural look and feel of period homes and buildings, working closely with community Historical Commissions and planning agencies to save and update these historical reminders of our shared past.
